About The Southern Social TX - Wedding magazine for Texas brides

November 1998 – I see him at work. He is hot. I’m intrigued…
February 1999 – First Date. I know almost immediately that I love him.
May 1999 – First trip together to San Antonio. I tell him that I love him, he pretends to be asleep.
June 1999 – He loves me too.
November 2002 – Oops! Happy little surprise. We have a baby.

In all the time since, lots of loving and laughing and blending families, and late nights and early mornings, and diapers and bottles, and frustration and fatigue and older kids, and sports and practices, and hugs and kisses and fighting and crying, and forgiving and growing and building.

Our love story doesn’t have traditional timing. It’s rare to find a bride and groom 20+ years down the road; battered and bruised but still standing, still fighting for each other, still in love, blessed beyond measure. And through all these years, we have learned to cherish every precious moment with our family and friends. Our wedding was the perfect opportunity to have the people we love most come together, a unique multi-generational celebration of love. I mean, who invites their grandchildren to their wedding? Priceless.
